Welcome to Karlstad's university's sports association, KAUIF!
KAUIF is a non-profit sports association, open to the public but focus primarily on the students and personnel at the university. We offer training sessions everyday of the week and we have a wide range of activities to choose from. We of course offer student prices on our membership cards!
KAUIF consists of two sections. First, we have the group training section that consists of Teamcycle, Aerobics, Dance, Core, Yoga, Box, Strength and Powerstep. Then we have the ball section, where you can train Soccer, Floorball, Basket, Handball, Lacrosse, Volleyball and the marital art Shorinji Kempo. We have also got Soccer and Floor ball for women only! Everybody can participate in the training sessions so no prior knowledge is needed.
If you want to begin training at KAUIF, then you can choose from different membership cards, either a term-card or a month-card. Read more about the membership cards under membership!
Apart from our training sessions we offer massage at a student price!
Each term KAUIF have a massage training and an instructor training. If you are interested in learning to massage or to become an instructor at KAUIF, then you are welcome to our office and we will tell you more about it!
We are located in Studenternas Hus, opposite the university and on the first floor you can find our office.
